Welcome to 2019!

The KRC wants to extend a warm welcome to the 2019 season! It’s been a LONG winter, and we’re gearing up to be back on the water! Our High School Program has kicked off with dryland practices, and we have completed dock installation 

Please be aware of our COLD WATER POLICY

Programming will be starting soon, so it’s important that you register for your program as soon as possible. If you’re thinking about a new program or focus this summer, or are brand new to the club, feel free to contact [email protected]. Registrations are done online, following our “register now” button in the drop-down menu, and payments can be made online. Check out our Membership and Events tabs for information on programs and 2019 Regatta dates. 

116th NWIRA to be Hosted in Kenora

This year August 23-24,2019 the Kenora Rowing Club will be hosting the 116th NWIRA Championships at Rabbit Lake. This event is the culminating club championships for Northwest Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, and Minnesota. Racing will happen between 7:30 am – 5 pm both days, weather permitting.

Kenora has been recognized within the North West International Rowing Association as the premiere venue for our Championship regatta. Thus you will see this event frequently in the future on the shores of Rabbit Lake!

Mantario Rowdown 2019

Father’s Day weekend will be a busy time at the Kenora Rowing Club.

Sunday, June 16, 2019 is the Mantario Rowdown, an informal junior and novice day of racing. The race day package will be distributed to club coaches, registration will be on Regatta Central and if you have any questions, contact KRC at [email protected] for details. There will be a BBQ at the end of the day, included in the entry fee.
